	Chemistry Alumni Four Northwest alumni working at Conoco in the 1980's wanted to establish this scholarship for our fellow science majors. We were all recent grads and knew first-hand how tight finances could be in school. Our employer provided 2:1 matching funds so we started off with a better initial fund than we could have done individually.
